HEALTH AND FITNESS CARNIVAL 2011

Health and Fitness Carnival is coming! There will be lots of interesting activities lined up for all of you. I am sure that your teachers have informed you of the upcoming activities starting Tuesday, 12th July. Here are some of the activities:

1) Eat Breakfast with Form Teachers Programme. (EBFTP)
- This mouth-watering activity hopes to foster greater teacher and pupil bonding, as well as to cultivate good eating habits.
- All pupils will be given wholemeal bread (except for the fillings) for breakfast. Discuss with your form teachers on the healthy fillings which you might want to bring to school.

2) Fruity Day - 'Rainbow' Fruit theme
- Fruits galore! each pupil will be given an apple, a pear, as well as a medium-sized banana. Hey,not bad for a wholesome breakfast! Don't forget to collect the fruits in the morning before you commence the EBFTP.

3) Milo drinks for all! We believe not many school will provide so much food for breakfast - plus to have breakfast with your form teacher!

4) Journal Writing
- Do record your personal thoughts on your experience eating with your form teacher!

We hope through this programme, pupils will also be better-informed on the benefits of eating wholemeal/wholegrain bread as well as the other nutritional aspects based on the food pyramid.
